Subject: Final Word

Friends,
     This will be my final update because I am home now(!).  That's right,
Justin is now in the United States in good ole Little Rock, Arkansas.
 I actually got in on Saturday, December 20.  I layed low for a few
days, staying with Josh and Rachael Newton Saturday and Monday nights
and spending Sunday night in Fayetteville.  I surprised my family on
Christmas eve at the annual Bertram family get together at my
grandparent's house, and then I surprised my girlfriend (Holly
Alford) on Christmas day.  Since that time I have just been
readjusting to life in the States and getting settled in at my
parent's home.
     God has blessed me greatly in regards to my return.  My
counter-culture shock has been very little.  I expected much more,
but I am happy to say that the readjustment process has been
surprisingly smooth.  My few days of laying low were designed to help
me readjust to the States in the face of as little distraction as
possible.
     So what about the future?  In the near future I just plan to spend
time with family and friends and look for a job.  As far as the
distant future goes I just plan to keep following Christ.  There is
no doubt in my mind that He has an unimaginable plan for all those
who earnestly seek Him.
     I also want to say thank you.  You guys have held me up in prayer. 
You have labored so that my labor would be less.  I love you guys,
and I couldn't have done it without you.  Thank you.
