Subject: further goings on

Greetings from Brazil!
	I hope everyone is doing well.	I am doing great.  God has granted
my many prayers concerning strength and focus.	I am much more comfortable
with my "family" now and I am in a daily routine.  Language learning is
going fairly well, but it is still my biggest concern.	Keep praying that
I become proficient as soon as possible.
	I went to a Brazilian theme park this weekend.	It was very
similar to an American theme park, there were just longer lines and the
rides were good overall.  I went with about 8 people from the church that
I am going to now.  It was pretty comical as you can imagine because they
knew very little English.  We managed though, and had a great time.  There
was one ride in particular that I wish to mention.  It was a large tower
that you ride to the top and then go straight down.  It was a lot like the
"Cliffhanger" or similar ride.	However it was much much taller and
instead of just dropping you (free fall) it accelerated you.  It was the
shortest and most intense ride I have ever been on.  Pretty fun stuff.
	Last night I prayed for the Edge to go well.  I would like to hear
reports if any of you guys went.  I enjoyed both of the ones that I
attended and they challenged me in my walk with Christ.
	My home sickness is dwindling.	I think I got over the biggest
hump thanks to you guy's prayers.  It gets hard every once in a while, but
nothing like I was experiencing before.
